Alex's Outlook

Howard Dean has won 44 percent of's online Democratic primary. Dennis Kucinich was a distant second with about 24%, with Kerry third at 16%. Nobody else made double digits. Because nobody got above 50%, will not endorse anybody yet. (I heard there was going to be a runoff in the future, but I'm not sure about that yet.)

Dean's candidacy is getting pretty impressive steam. He seems like a clone of George McGovern, except for his very pro-NRA gun credentials. (I suspect that Dean will modify that stance as he jockeys for support of Dem interest groups.)
